Blog #12: Southampton Boat Show - 3 stalls to look out for...
The much loved Southampton Boat Show is returning on the 12th-21st September. If you’re anything like us, you’ll already have your ticket and will now be looking ahead to who’s attending - Nobody likes FOMO (Fear of missing out!!). Here’s our roundup of some key exhibitors and attractions to keep an eye out for:
1) The Wooden Boatbuilders’ Trade Association (WBTA) - These guys will be holding a boat building demonstration, covering lots of different crafts and exploring modern and traditional construction methods. They’ll also be looking into the different types of wood used and why this is important. You won’t be able to miss the eye-catching construction display which will be on view as soon as you enter the show.
2) Try-a-Boat - OnTheWater will be hosting this incredibly popular attraction, where you can jump in your choice of either a RIB, powerboat or yacht. Whether you’re an aspiring sailor, a beginner, or a seasoned boat owner, this could be the perfect opportunity to get out on the water on something new!
3) Sebago - It’s not all boats and nauticalia, you need to look the part too! Sebago will be making an appearance at the Boat Show to help you with just that! They’re renowned for their stylish ranges of mens and womens clothing that includes everything from shoes, jackets and everyday essentials.
